Making end of life decisions for your pet can be extremely difficult and challenging. At Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services we realize that quality of life applies not only to your pet but to the whole family unit, and there are often many factors involved in its assessment. For this reason we provide quality of life consultations which can help guide families in how to keep your pet as comfortable as possible, and know when it might be time to make the decision for euthanasia. Whether euthanasia is imminent, your pet has just been diagnosed with a life shortening illness/disease, or your pet is geriatric this consultation may be of great benefit for you and your family.

Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services is happy to provide in home hospice and palliative care for any pets that have more chronic diseases such as cancer, arthritis, renal disease, diabetes and any other illnesses that benefit from regular therapy . We work closely with you to decide the best therapeutic options to keep your pet as comfortable and pain free as possible. Depending on the disease process involved this can range from an appropriate pain management plan to recommendations on products and therapies that can help alleviate any other symptoms related to your pet’s illness that can affect their quality of life.
